Bending and extending are the most repetitive movements of the knee joint during jogging, and with the increase of distance or increased challenge from road or terrain, the strength of muscles and ligaments may decline leading to possible injury. Also, joggers often ignore the importance of stretching their muscles, and in the long term, this can cause certain muscle groups to tighteness and cause patellar tendonitis or knee pain due to poor mechanics.

Every time the feet hit the ground during jogging, the knee joint has to absorb impact of body weight, and the LP Medical Team uses protective gear to aid this process. Highly pliable material like CoolPrene and metal stays enhance these support capabilities, allowing a portion of the impact to be distributed by the specially designed protective gear. LP also uses special cushions around the patella that stabilize the position of the patella and reduce the chance of injury due to repetitive stretching of the tendons during jogging.
